Nokia Lumia 920 defeats the iPhone 5, flaunts image stabilization at Photokina (Video)

This month has played host to a number of new product announcements, but there is a technology industry that goes beyond smartphones. Such is the case with Photokina in Germany, one of the world’s largest photography-centric trade shows which came to a close today.

While the show’s focal point may be on cameras, Nokia was in attendance to show off the optical imaging prowess of its two PureView devices — the 808 PureView and the new Lumia 920. The company’s own Kristina Björknäs took to her Twitter account to promote Nokia’s presence and to challenge folks to stop by and compare their phones to the Lumia 920. Attached to the tweet was the photo you see above, which shows you the end result from a low-light camera test between the new Apple iPhone 5 and the Nokia Lumia 920. Can you guess who came out on top?

In addition to this impressive feat, Engadget managed to grab a video during the even which shows off the Lumia 920’s lauded optical image stabilization in action.
