CordLite - illuminated Charger Cable for your iPhone

The CordLite is a charging cable that provides illumination, enabling you to see your charging port in any low light environment. It’s so simple, that by simply picking it up or holding it, it illuminates. The touch design eliminates the need for buttons or switches and keeps the look clean and simple.  We worked really hard to design the CordLite to compliment Apple’s impecable design.

CordLite is made of rigid plastic for the body, and bead blasted aluminum for the touch plates.  The cable is a standard USB cable and will charge and sync your iPhone/iPad/iPod just like the cable that came with it.

The CordLite in the video is one of a few working prototypes that have been in use for the last few months. They were made in our shop using time consuming and tedious methods, but we were able to work out the glitches early and we feel really good about the design.

gTar: The First Guitar That Anybody Can Play

There’s nothing like the thrill of playing a real musical instrument. Unfortunately for most, learning can be a frustrating and time-consuming experience. That’s why we built the gTar.

The gTar is a fully digital guitar that makes it easy for anybody to play music, regardless of experience. All you have to do is dock your iPhone in the body, load up the gTar app, and an array of interactive LEDs along the fretboard will show you how to play. 

You may be asking yourself what it means for a guitar to be “digital.” While most guitars have pickups to amplify the sound of vibrating strings, the gTar has none - instead, we’ve designed the gTar with sensors that detect exactly what you’re playing in real-time and relay each note to your iPhone, which then produces the actual sound. This makes it possible for us to do all kinds of exciting things, so let’s get into it!

iRig Mix Mobile Mixer (for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad)

iRig™ MIX is the first mobile mixer for iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. iRig MIX offers the same controls you would expect from a professional DJ mixer (crossfader, cues, EQ and volume controls, etc.) in an ultra-compact mobile mixer that can be used with a huge variety of iOS DJ mixing and other apps. It is a complete DJ system for rehearsing, performing and recording.

The lightweight and slim design of the iRig MIX allows it to be easily carried in a regular iPad bag.

In short, it’s like a speaker for your iPod, only it uses no power. Through passive amplification alone, these unique pieces instantly transform any personal music player + earbuds into a sculptural audio console. Without the use of external power or batteries, the Phonofone II inventively exploits the virtues of horn acoustics to boost the audio output of standard earphones to up to 55 decibels.
